Founding Father of Kanodia Group of Companies
He is the founding father of the Kanodia Group of Companies. Whilst he was a hard-working, diligent and humble businessman, he went out of his way to have a productive impact on his family, friends and community. The group's growth is only a testament to our Leader. Our businesses' culture and values are only a reflection of the man, Late Shri Om Prakash Kanodia. His sons and grandsons follow in his footsteps in building resilient businesses and making a productive difference to the community.
Now retired, Mr. Vijay Kumar Kanodia, has been a stalwart in business leadership and social development for the people of Krishnanagar. Having held Chairmanship of the Chamber of Commerce here multiple times, he has served and continues to contribute to the community.
Dr. Kanodia, is the President of Association of Private Medical Colleges of Nepal and the Managing Director of LBEA, the holding company of Nepalgunj Medical College. He has been a pioneer in the healthcare industry of Western Nepal, bringing to life the largest and only super-speciality healthcare infrastructure for all of Western Nepal.
Mr. Birendra Kumar Kanodia has successfully mastered the art of balancing public and business life. On the business side, he is the Managing Director of Shree Mahalaxmi Sugars Pvt. Ltd. and Chairman of WFU, KGCM and KGCT. In his public life, as an emphatic follower of Girija Prasad Koirala of the Nepali Congress Party, he has been a Minister of State in the Government of Nepal, a Member of Parliament and is currently the Leader of Opposition as Member of Legislative Assembly in State 5.
A core-Marwari-businessman at heart, Mr. Mahendra Kumar Kanodia is the Vice-Chairman of Wizard Fragrances Udyog Pvt. Ltd. In his leadership, the company has grown to be the most financially-sound company in the industry. True to his blood, he has been an active and vocal contributor to the community.
As the eldest grandson of Late Shri Om Prakahsh Kanodia, Mr. Manoj Kanodia is the emotional leader of the next generation of KGC. In rightful KGC-leadership format, whilst he is the Chairman of Jai Ambe Plywood Industries Pvt. Ltd. and Director of Atal Cements Pvt. Ltd., he is also the Chairman of Marwari Sewa Samiti, Krishnanagar-Barhani.
An IT Engineer by background, Manish Kanodia has successfully blended an engineer’s adroitness and a Marwari’s business acumen in his multiple business roles as Managing Director of Atal Cements Pvt. Ltd., Atal Plywood Industries Pvt. Ltd., Director, Jai Ambe Plywood Industries Pvt. Ltd. and General Manager, Shree Mahalaxmi Sugars Pvt. Ltd.
Dr. Ritesh Kanodia is the Director, Lord Buddha Educational Academy Pvt. Ltd. By profession, he is an MBBS and MD (Radiology), currently practicing at NGMC. He envisions to bring together the best practices of modern western science and eastern learnings into Holistic Medical Treatment services.
Dr. Nitesh Kanodia, an MBBS and MHA, is taking the legacy of Dr. Suresh Kumar Kanodia to new heights, offering the best of healthcare services to Western Nepal. In true KGC fashion, making a difference, Dr. Kanodia has successfully led multiple healthcare camps in the remotest districts of Nepal. He is also a member of the Nepali Congress Party, wherein he has successfully managed the election campaign of the Late Prime Minister Shri Sushil Koirala.
An Economics-Commerce double majors by education and a Vipassana meditator by training, Mr. Abhineet Kanodia joined Wizard Fragrances Udyog Pvt. Ltd. as Deputy Sales Manager in 2016 and has grown to be its CEO. He has co-created the world’s first tobacco-less guthka at WFUPL, whilst further foraying KGC’s business roots to newer sectors by starting up KGC Marketing & KGC Technologies. KGCT’s Oorja is Mr. Abhineet Kanodia’s brainchild.
The youngest in the third-generation of the family, Mr. Abhishek Kanodia, is a qualified Engineer from DTU, Delhi. He has brought his prowess in Data Analytics to productive yield for KGC, in his capacity as Chief Financial Officer for its 3 companies – WFUPL, KGCM & KGCT.
